Naidoc art show on way in Kalamunda

The inaugural Makuru Arts Festival last year attracted dozens of entries with the support of the Shire of Kalamunda.

Shire chief executive Rhonda Hardy said she was looking forward to seeing the diversity of work at this year’s art show.

“Last year, we saw work by some who had never exhibited before, and the quality of works was amazing,” Ms Hardy said.

Artists may submit two pieces of work and all media is welcome, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media and photography.
