RAIL workers washed cars in Northam this week in an effort to raise money for sick children.

More than 45 Brookfield Rail track workers hosted the car wash at Northam Railway Station, collecting about $1100 for Give Me 5 for Kids.

Regional lead Clinton Lobb said it was a great way to give back to the community.

“Give Me 5 for Kids raises much-needed money for the PMH Foundation and our Northam team is proud to be able to do their bit to support such a worthy cause,” he said.

“It’s a great opportunity to not only build stronger team relationships among our employees but also strengthen our ties with our local community.”
