A 21year-old Mt Helena man was trapped after the ute he was travelling in hit a power pole on Byfield Road in Parkerville overnight.
Police Media said the accident happened just after 10pm.
The man was taken by St John Ambulance to a nearby oval before being transferred to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue helicopter.
Royal Perth Hospital said the man was in a stable condition.
