The Parkerville Tavern will be the soul of the Hills this Saturday.

It will host US vocal sensation, Richard Jackson, performing with one of WA’s best known bands, Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys, in a twilight concert of soul music.

They’ll be joined by two of Perth’s soul music legends, Hans Fiance and Roy Martinez, as the opening act.

Richard Jackson, renowned for his velvet voice and incredible range, will be in Perth for a series of shows and will join Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys on the Parky’s outdoor stage for the twilight concert.

Cincinnati-born Jackson grew up in a musical home and went on to a classical training before falling in love with jazz.

Over more than 20 years he’s gone on to perform all over the world and is now based in Singapore.

Gates open for the all-ages event at 4pm and the concert starts at 5pm with Hans Fiance and Roy Martinez. The Soul Rhythm Spectacular Show will then run from 6.45pm to 9pm.
