COSTLY business for Main Roads WA when a traffic light is bowled over in a crash.

Photographer David Baylis recently snapped these workers replacing a pole at the corner of Morrison Road and Keane Street, Midland.

“The cost to replace a traffic signal pole is in the vicinity of $3000 depending on the complexity of the electrical fittings and whether traffic management is required,” a Main Roads spokesman told the Gazette.
