The film charts an epic 5000km journey by quadriplegic Jim Cairns, and paraplegics Craig Parsons, Anton Zappelli and Terry Mader, on quad bikes to the crash sites where the men’s lives were changed.

Mr Cairns is one of the stars of the film and its executive producer.

He said he hoped the 48 screenings across WA would encourage people to better manage risks on the road and be more accepting of people with disabilities.

‘If we stop one person getting into a car with a drunk, it’s worth it,’ Mr Cairns said.

‘I like to think of the documentary as a story about participation, passion and adventure that has a positive influence on risk-|takers, with a strong ‘count me in’ inclusion message.’

Mr Cairns is the ambassador for the Disability Services Commission’s Count Me In strategy.
