Tickets are selling fast for the event to raise money for the Days for Girls project following the success of the club's first high tea.

Co-ordinator Donna Evans said with last year's proceeds volunteers made 100 hygiene kits over three sewing days.

"These kits have since gone to an orphanage in East Timor, and will provide two to three years worth of protection for these girls enabling them to go to school regularly," Ms Evans said.

The high tea is on Sunday October 11, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, at the Guildford Landing Function Centre in Swan Road, Guildford.
