Santa is accepting deliveries to the post office in business hours from December 11 to 21. He has requested easy to handle parcels because the fire vehicle will be replacing his traditional sleigh for the Mt Helena leg of his deliveries.

Local brigade secretary Aaron Thredgold said children should keep a look-out to be sure not to miss him and waiting under shade at the gate.

“As he has a long way to go and a lot of people to see, he will not be able to go up driveways and cannot wait too long if children are not present,” he said.
