NEW ways to make communities more inclusive and welcoming for people with disability are part of an updated plan adopted by the Shire of Mundaring.

Shire President David Lavell said the new disability access and inclusion plan 2017-2021 would guide the removal of barriers experienced by people with disability.

“We want to make our community even more inclusive and welcoming for people with disability and their families, friends and carers,” he said.

There are 72 strategies in the plan to combat recurring issues faced by people with disability.
