Shire of Mundaring apologises for DFES phone number misprint in fire information booklet

SHIRE of Mundaring has apologised to residents sent a fire information booklet containing the wrong number for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.

The booklet delivered with the rates in August last year incorrectly listed the fire service’s public information number as 13 13 37; the correct number is 13 33 37 or 13 DFES.

Residents are asked to update their fire information booklets and check their bushfire plan has the correct number.

Community safety and emergency management coordinator Craig Cuthbert said the Shire was working quickly to rectify the misprint.

An updated web version of the document will be available soon on the Shire website.
