YOUNG musicians from local high schools wowed hundreds of people during a fundraising event this month with live performances of some of the most popular songs and movie soundtracks.
Students from Guildford Grammar, Helena College, Swan View and Eastern Hills showcased their talents by playing tracks from Star Wars and the Beatles to Brahms and Chopin.
Held at the Eastern Hills theatre, the concert raised more than $2000 to help a young musician or artist apply for the Robert Juniper Award for the Arts.
