Shires of Chittering, Northam and York to receive disaster assistance for March floods

The Commonwealth-State Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements will provide assistance to areas affected by heavy rainfall and flooding between March 19 and 27.

“It is clear that heavy rainfall and flooding took its toll on local infrastructure in these regional areas require Commonwealth-State support to ensure communities are restored as quickly as possible,” Premier Colin Barnett said.
