South Guildford Bizzy Bee Patchwork owner Cath Clarke to display work at Craft and Quilt Fair

Montana ArdonHills Avon Valley Gazette

QUILTING, crochet and dream catchers were all the rage in the ’70s, and it seems they are making a comeback.

Cath Clarke, owner of Bizzy Bee Patchwork in South Guildford, runs workshops for the local community to learn about the art of creation.

Ms Clarke’s work will be on display at the Craft and Quilt Fair, which runs until Sunday at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The annual fair offers a range of exhibitions, displays, hands-on activities, guest artists, free demonstrations and more than 65 workshops each day.

Seminar-style talks as well as hands-on ‘make and takes’ will provide visitors with the knowledge and skills to get started on a new creative project, and there will be many experts able to offer a helping hand.

Craft enthusiasts will also be able to shop until they drop, with an extensive range of material for sale.

The exhibition runs until Sunday from 9am-4.30pm. Door prices are $17, seniors $16, pensioners $15 and children 5 to 16 $9.
