Swan Hills schools to get $20,000 funding windfall

SCHOOLS in Swan Hills are among those listed to receive a $20,000 windfall under a State Government commitment to prepare students for the jobs of the future.

Primary schools to benefit will include Chidlow, Gidgegannup, Mt Helena, Upper Swan and Wooroloo.

Eastern Hills Senior High School will spend the $20,000 allocation on new furniture for the school library.

Swan Hills MLA Jessica Shaw said the education funding would also contribute towards new sporting facilities, play areas and performing arts spaces at schools.

“It’s so great to see our promises being delivered in schools across Swan Hills,” she said.
