It was the second time the college had hosted the sale.

Students had an opportunity to take part in the preparation of the bulls and the selling process, allowing them to experience the beef industry first-hand.

They worked with stud-|masters and observed the genetic improvement the bulls could make to commercial herds.

There were 83 bulls offered for sale and the top-priced bull ” a poll hereford ” sold for $9000. The average sale price was $3728.

Students said they enjoyed being involved and gained valuable experience.
