Two children hurt in Swan View truck crash, police investigating

POLICE are investigating a serious crash in Swan View yesterday afternoon in which two children were hospitalised.

The crash occurred about 4.10pm when a four-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl got off a bus that had stopped on Talbot Road, near Dongara Circle.

They crossed the road in front of the stationary bus.

At the same time an Isuzu Truck was passing and hit the two children.

St John Ambulance took both children to Midland Hospital for treatment and the boy has since been transferred to the Perth Children’s Hospital.

The driver of the truck has assisted investigators with their inquiries.

Police would like to speak to anyone that witnessed the crash, or saw the Isuzu truck prior to the crash.
