TWO people are dead after a head-on collision in which the victims’ car caught fire about 120km north of Perth yesterday.
Police said a man and woman were travelling north in a Toyota Corolla about 3.40pm on Great Northern Highway when the vehicle collided with an oncoming Toyota Hilux in Wannamal about 3km south of New Norcia.
The Corolla caught fire and the two occupants died at the scene.
The 20-year-old male driver of the Hilux received minor injuries and was taken to Joondalup Health Campus.
