Vollies needed to plant trees in Parkerville to benefit cockies

Laura PondHills Avon Valley Gazette

VOLUNTEERS are needed to plant about 1500 trees in Parkerville to benefit Carnaby’s black cockatoos.

Perth Advocates for the Earth is hosting a tree planting day on August 6 at Wedgetail Reserve.

The area was used for cattle grazing for more than 40 years and Jane Brook Catchment Group has been rehabilitating it since 2008.
