WA Police have welcomed 57 new police officers.

They graduated last Thursday night in a ceremony involving Commissioner Karl O’Callaghan and Police Minister Liza Harvey at the WA Police Academy in Joondalup.

The new officers – with an average age of 28 – completed a 28-week course.

Six graduates have served in the armed forces, most have attained tertiary qualifications and all have worked in the public or private sector.
