Wheels start turning on park upgrade

Sally McGlew, Hills GazetteHills Avon Valley Gazette

The scope of improvements has not yet been established and would require community consultation through the Shire of Mundaring before any plans can be made.

Rebecca Buswell, a mother who grew up in Glen Forrest, is driving the project.

Mrs Buswell is trying to establish a community ratepayer association, or a similar group, to monitor and consult on the project.

It is generally accepted that improvements along the lines of Pine Park, in Darlington, would be acceptable to the community, with no intention to change the heritage, character and charm of Train Park.
