WWII Vet gets spruced up for Anzac Day by generous High Wycombe barber

Lauren PedenHills Avon Valley Gazette

FORMER High Wycombe resident and World War II veteran Leonard Kenwyn Bowley (92) had a visit from barber Tracy Lynn on Monday to prepare for Anzac Day.

Mr Bowley’s family have commended Ms Lynn, of High Wycombe, who attended to their grandfather before last year’s service while he was in hospital, and again this year in his nursing home Donovan House Forrestfield.

Mr Bowley’s spirits were lifted last year when he was allowed to leave hospital and attend the Anzac march and Ms Lynn was called in to help.

She was there to help again this year to ensure he looked his best on the day.
