Youth services in Shire of Mundaring to be reviewed for third time at special council meeting

YOUTH services in the Shire of Mundaring will be reviewed a third time at a special council meeting on Monday.

Councillors will consider a motion by Councillor Stephen Fox to revoke last Tuesday’s 6-5 council decision to provide the service through a youth partnership funding program.

A new motion will be presented at 6.30pm on May 21 at the council chambers.

In February, councillors knocked back a recommendation to award a $216,200 three-year contract to MercyCare for the provision of youth services across the Shire.
