Baseball: Swan Districts makes it two-from-two against Carine

SWAN Districts finished its double-header against Carine Cats on Sunday with two wins in Baseball WA State League action.

The wins brought the Swans’ win tally to four, keeping them in touch with the top five.

However, they face a stiff challenge this Sunday against top two side Morley Eagles.

“The game plan is to play consistent baseball,” manager Adam Courcha said.

“It is going to be crucial to scrape some runs together and hold them down with pitching and defence.”

Swans host the Eagles at Charlie Hodder Baseball Field, Middle Swan, on Sunday, at 3.15pm.
