Michaela Koch (12), of Sawyers Valley, and Cadence Cargill (10), of the Vines, achieved the honour at a selection day at association coach Victoria Hamilton’s property Mungo Brae Equestrian Centre in Sawyers Valley last Sunday.
Hamilton said Michaela excelled in the selection process, from her riding and horse mastership skills to her communication and helpfulness towards other riders.
Cadence, though one of the youngest applicants, showed super natural balance in her riding and a great attitude to her training.
