Football: Hills and Metro to face off for first time in 9 years

IT’S Hills versus Metro footballers for the first time in nine years this Sunday.

A Hills Football Association team will face Metro Football League players on just the fifth occasion since their inaugural match in 2005.

The representative sides played four years straight from 2005 to 2008 and will renew the rivalry this weekend after nearly a decade of absence.

The Hills have a dominant history, winning three of the four matches.

The game begins at 2.30pm at Mundaring Oval.
