Football: Midland continues dream run

Justin BianchiniHills Avon Valley Gazette

MIDLAND continued its winning streak at the weekend after a slow start to the Metropolitan Football League season.

The Tigers more than doubled the score of last year’s runner-up Warwick Greenwood on Sunday at North Swan Oval. The Tigers won 15.17 (107) to 8.8 (56).

“That’s more than a 20-goal turn around from round 1 when Warwick Greenwood beat Midland by 12 goals,” a league spokesman said.
