Football: Midland end Brighton’s season with 207-52 thrashing

MIDLAND put an end to Brighton’s season when they thrashed the north- coast side in the first semi-final of the Metropolitan Football League on Sunday.

Midland won 31.21 (207) to 8.4 (52) and now wait to play the loser of the second semi-final this Sunday between Safety Bay and Queens Park.

In division 2, Queens Park 11.27 (93) defeated Innaloo 9.9 (63) in the first semi.
