Interschool championships

Almost 1000 students recently converged at the Kalamunda park for Orienteering WA’s interschool championships to compete on courses ranging from 1.5km-6km, armed with a map and compass.

St Brigids Middle Swan and Bunbury Cathedral Grammar schools won and retained shields.

Experience counted in the secondary contest, where the 15A and 16A classes gave Bunbury Cathedral the win over All Saints College with first-timers Quinns Baptist College a close third.

Toby Field from Oberthur Primary School impressed the crowd, completing the 2km Boys 10 Years course in just over 10 minutes.
