Newly appointed head coach Michael Clarke was enthusiastic about his first player signing.

“More than a first-class shooting guard and defender, Jarrad is a great person,” Clarke said.

“He is an outstanding coach of juniors and exactly what our association needs as we look to develop for the future.”

Prior said he was excited to play with an excellent team of young locals.

“Coach Clarke has a great system and style of play that I look forward to being a part of.”

The Suns’ program began a series of open tryouts on Wednesday.
