NETBALLERS from Kalamunda were given a chance to watch their heroes on the court last Saturday after receiving a special invitation to witness the game between West Coast Fever and Central Pulse at Perth Arena.

The Kalamunda and Districts Netball Association and Nga Iwi Katoa Netball Club received tickets and transport to the venue as part of an initiative through the ANZ NetSetGo program.

Kalamunda and Districts Netball Association president Nicole McKennay said the young netballers loved the experience.

“We were absolutely thrilled to head to the Perth Arena to watch the match between two of the best teams in the competition; it was a great experience for the girls to get to see their heroes in action,” she said.

Nga Iwi Katoa Netball Club spokes woman Tarina Repia said the program helped develop skills on and off court.

“We are focused on developing skills with our players on and off court from a very early age, and giving them the opportunity to experience our game in such a manner is absolutely priceless,” she said.
