Metro Football League: Midland’s season ends as Queens Park books grand final spot

QUEENS Park is through to the grand final this Sunday in the Metro Football League.

The Bulldogs were too strong for Midland in the preliminary final, winning 21.14 (140) 14.13 (97).

The best players for Queens Park were Kyle and Caleb Bolton and Emmanuel Krackouer, who kicked six goals. Jim Kiernan, Zac Altmann and Chevy Abson were the Tigers’ best.

The Bulldogs now face Safety Bay in the grand final this Sunday at Robertson Reserve in Tuart Hill.

Dwellingup will play Baldivis in the division 2 grand final after thrashing Queens Park in the preliminary final, 27-16 (178) to 6-2 (38).
