Club supporter Peta Woodland said the fledgling club of 38 members was ready to welcome more families from the eastern metro areas of Kalamunda and Midland.
The club is open to people aged from seven to 70, with a focus on fitness, fun and health.
Training sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with group cycling outings on Sundays.
“We are trying to create community interest for the whole family, not only for triathlon but adventure racing, mountain biking, duathlon and even single sports such as running,” Ms Woodland said.
“We are the first family triathlon club to open in the area.”
The triathlon event of swimming, cycling and running is one of Australia’s fastest growing sports.
