SWAN Districts host West Perth this Sunday in the WA Football League’s Count Me In Round.
The round – developed in partnership with the Disability Services Commission, the WA Football Commission and the Department of Sport and Recreation – promotes welcoming, accessible and inclusive communities.
There will be free entry to the games for people with a disability with Companion Cards and their companions, or people with specially marked tickets.
WAFL general manager Steve Hargrave encouraged football fans to attend.
“It’s a great day out for the family and helps to promote a great cause,” he said.
Count Me In aims to remind everyone that people of all abilities can enjoy being part of a sports club – whether it is on the field as a player or official, supporting the team from the sidelines, or behind the scenes as a volunteer.
The Falcons are smarting after getting rolled by the Royals while Swans will want their winning form to continue after a comfortable win over Perth.
The Swans-West Perth clash starts at Bassendean Oval, at 2.10pm.
