Aldi buys Delamare Avenue site for Currambine store

SUPERMARKET chain Aldi Foods has bought a site for a Currambine store in Delamere Avenue. Altegra Property Group metropolitan markets director Anthony Morabito said he negotiated the sale with Aldi’s Morgan O’Shea.

“After a successful sales and leasing campaign at stage one of Currambine District Centre, the owners of 86 Delamere Avenue approached us to find a suitable buyer,” Mr Morabito said.

“They wanted to identify an investor that would complement the first stage of their successful development.

“Having developed a relationship with Aldi Foods, Altegra was aware that Aldi was seeking opportunities in the metropolitan marketplace.

“So we engaged with them on this site and there was immediate and strong interest from Aldi.”
