B2ME Australia helping to connect service providers with the community

Tyler BrownJoondalup Times

GREENWOOD entrepreneur Ray Bartell is rolling out the first stage of an online marketplace that allows business owners to offer their professional services to the wider community.

B2ME Australia targets small to medium businesses, seeking a way to create awareness of their services in one space where consumers can select a business based on a service that suits their needs.

“Our purpose is to connect professional service providers with service users in a way that builds valuable relationships, trust and rapport,” Dr Bartell said.

“B2ME Australia is a service-finding, reputation-driven platform that helps you to find, access, connect and engage with service providers recommended by friends or affiliate communities as well as the broader marketplace.

“These are the key points of difference and as a bonus, it’s a community building enterprise.”

Dr Bartell said he was inspired to create the platform after spending many years working in community development in remote communities in Papua New Guinea.

“I could see every community had amazing strengths and once understood, brought to the surface and mobilised towards the common good, that’s when I saw some amazing change,” he said.

“When I came back to Australia, I started to see gaps in our culture and wanted to see something of the same sense of community here.

“I decided I wanted to play my part in rebuilding a sense of community, hence the B2ME Australia initiative for effecting positive change.”

Stage two of the platform will open on July 12 to service users’ requirements.
