BELDON resident Ashlee Furzer and her husband Jack will have more than $1400 extra in their pockets this financial year.

The couple recently won the City of Joondalup’s inaugural eRates prize draw, which will see their 2018-19 rates paid in full.

Mrs Furzer said she was shocked and delighted when notified of the win – just one day prior to flying out on an overseas holiday to Thailand.

“The money we will save on our rates will come in very handy,” she said.
