HILLARYS fashion designer Klara Forrest has opened a pop-up shop

“I am a local fashion designer with a special interest in practicality and versatility of my products, while it resembles style and elegance and addresses individuality,” she said.

“I believe every woman is beautiful, regardless of age and size, and the key to looking good is feeling good about ourselves and being confident.

“I also believe fashion is a sort of expressing ourselves and by dressing up cleverly, we could use this tool to empower ourselves and make an statement at work or life in general.”

Ms Forrest said she also believed in “doing good” and contributing to the wellbeing and comfort of less fortunate people.

“In past I have had few fashion shows; the purpose behind many of them has been raising funds for charity organisations,” she said.

“The last one was in May for Cancer Council.

“I am also organising my biggest fashion show on March 9, 2019, at Hyatt Regency. All the proceeds will be donated to Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation.”

The Como resident said to support next year’s fundraiser, she was contributing a portion of sales from July, August and through the Whitford City pop-up shop, which will end on November 4.

“We also have lots of specials and clearance sale as we aim to re-brand to Zweck which is a German word meaning ‘purpose and meaning’,” she said.

She appealed for help for the event through donations of cash or auction items, models, sponsors and helpers to collect auction items.
