Lakeside Joondalup: Sisters Supa IGA out, Farmer Jack’s in

Tyler BrownJoondalup Times

AFTER announcing its closure earlier this year, Sisters Supa IGA has left its site at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City and Farmer Jack’s has moved in.

To celebrate, the centre will host a Christmas Paddock to Plate Tasting Festival this Friday at the new store.

The locally-owned supermarket will join The Joondalup Butcher, Bakers Delight, Under the Mango Tree and other stores in the fresh food precinct from 11am to 2pm, where customers can enjoy free samples.

There will also be Christmas specials, salsa dancers and free foot massages.

Centre manager Gemma Hannigan said they were pleased to welcome Farmer Jack’s to Lakeside Joondalup, providing customers with “an experience that blends market-style shopping with the convenience of a traditional supermarket”.

Farmer Jack’s director Fred Fairthorne said the store would be bringing “the best local and fresh produce and premium product lines to Lakeside Joondalup”.

“While other supermarkets are reducing their range in most departments, Farmer Jack’s continues to increase our range to give our customers greater choice,” he said.
