READ NOWAFTER a three-week wait, a Padbury family has collected its Division One Saturday Lotto win.
The family claimed its $572,766 prize from a ticket bought at Padbury News and Post.
The winners, who have played the same numbers for 15 years, said they watched the Lotto draw on television but thought they only had four winning numbers.
“I thought I’d better double check the four numbers were correct and that was when I realised I didn’t just have four, I had all six of my numbers and couldn’t believe it,” the father said.
“When I showed my wife she was pleased that we might get a few thousand dollars, she nearly fell over when I told her it was going to be a lot more.”
The family plans to use the money to buy a new car and fix things around the house.
