VARIOUS groups of South East Asian business people recently toured Perth’s northern suburbs.

The group, comprising people from Singapore, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong, was part of a delegation of more than 250 in town for the Australia Asia Exchange Conference.

Moore MHR Ian Goodenough, who was a key speaker at the conference, showed the group a variety of commercial developments as well as import and export opportunities for agricultural produce in the cities of Joondalup, Wanneroo and Gingin.

They also headed north to Cervantes for a crayfish lunch at the Lobster Shack and a tour of the seafood processing factory.

“I have been involved with this event for the past three years and find it extremely valuable for networking and building business relationships,” Mr Goodenough said.

“Over that time I have seen many business and investment deals materialise as a result.”
