Spectacular offer to small businesses in WA

Ms Bouse, who founded Life Resolutions Morley, won a $108,000 crowd-funded business renovation prize, which included services, products, marketing, promotion and training from other WA businesses.

She beat more than 120 businesses from all industries to be one of six finalists to present their business case to a panel of experts from Crown Resorts, Edith Cowan University, City of Joondalup and Business News at the cocktail event held in Joondalup Resort’s Lakeview Ballroom.

Ms Bouse specialises in parenting including bonding and attachment, perinatal depression and anxiety, parenting from infancy to pre-adolescence and trauma from sexual and physical assault.

She said she would use the prize to market her online program Conscious Mother across Australia.

Attendees were invited to vote for a people’s choice award, with Upper Reach Winery co-owner Laura Pearse winning a smaller prize to help grow the Swan Valley-based business.

The event included keynote speakers Graham Harvey and Tim Guest and a fundraising raffle for Just Start It – an 18-week high school program to teach students how to build a business.
