ANDREA Deegan is a maestro problem solver with big plans.
After having trouble finding the perfect venue to hold events in Perth, she decided to establish an online business to fix the problem.
Ms Deegan launched Venue Maestro this month from its Joondalup headquarters and said that it met a need that was previously unfilled.
“There was a problem that we and other people experienced; the ability to find a venue online,” she said.
“No other venue finders existed that showcased high quality venues with various features by location.”
The chief executive said the platform worked two-fold, with seekers able to find venues according to their needs without trawling through individual websites and venue owners or managers able to get in front of their target market.
“Our customers are our venues, it offers them promotion on the platform to make them more visible to their market and increase the number of enquiries and bookings they receive for their venue.”
Ms Deegan said the company launched with 20 venues on board, with new event spaces added each day and the potential to grow nationally.
“We will work closely with our venues to find out what they want from the platform and plan to develop it accordingly,” she said.
“This may involve a bookings system or something else.
“Once rolled out in WA, we will expand to the other states.”
