Westfield Whitford City Christmas tree lights up

CHRISTMAS continues to light up Westfield Whitford City shopping centre.

The Hillarys centre held its annual Lighting of the Tree event on Thursday night.

Visitors filled the dining hub to see the 2.1m Christmas tree lit for the first time.

A social media competition was held to choose the lucky family to switch on the lights: , which was won by Natalie, Justin, Taylah (7) and Liam (5) Quigley, of Padbury.

The event also featured guests Santa, Mrs Claus and elves and a traditional Christmas ballet performance from The WA Performance School.
