POPULAR Currambine restaurant Basq has announced it will be closing its doors.

A Facebook post this afternoon addressed to “valued customers” said the modern European restaurant was “sad to announce” it would be shutting down.

“We would like to thank you all for a wonderful four and a half years,” it said.

“It hasn’t been easy for the last year or so but we absolutely tried our best.

“Unfortunately, all good things come to an end.”

In less than an hour, the post already had more than 250 comments from disappointed customers.

They are yet to announce when doors will officially close.
