FOOD trucks have rolled out to great success in the cities of Joondalup and Wanneroo this summer.

Dinner at Dusk is the latest group to come into the City of Joondalup, starting at Whitfords Nodes in Hillarys on Friday, January 25.

“We are very excited to bring Dinner at Dusk to Whitfords Nodes and have an amazing line-up of some of our favourite food trucks from around Perth to share with you,” founder Mandi Parker said.

“We will be setting up from lunchtime, with crowds expected to start from 5pm onwards.

“We will have tables and chairs set up for everyone to enjoy, and also encourage attendees to bring a blanket.”

The summer food truck program in the City of Wanneroo is running up to six nights a week.

Food Truck Pop Up’s Wanneroo Street Food initiative is supported by the City of Wanneroo.

Running until the end of April, residents can tuck into a range of delectable dishes from around the world, including French crepes, Vietnamese banh mi, Southern-style barbecue and Mexican burritos.

Food Truck Pop Up co-ordinator Peter Jenkins said the program offered something to suit all appetites.

“We couldn’t wait to get back out there and bring great food to the people of Wanneroo,” he said.
