“Modelling is my other passion and I have been working part-time in the fashion industry since I was four.”

Miss Armstrong said saving the oceans was a cause close to her heart.

“I often spend time on the weekend picking up rubbish along the coastline and raising awareness through social media,” she said.

“If I make it to the grand final in Bali of the Australian supermodel of the year competition, my hope is to spend some time with the locals raising awareness on the damage plastics are doing to the beaches of the world.”
