Castaway sets sail for new location

WHITFORDS Nodes Park is becoming a new venue for dance music in the northern suburbs with the announcement of Castaway Festival.

The beachside gig will make its inaugural journey to a new, more accessible location on the mainland after five years at Rottnest Island.

The all-Australian line-up will feature electronic producers What So Not, Golden Features, Slumberjack, Motez, Wafia, Tina Says and Gnrley.

Castaway is an adults-only event and will hit Hillarys’ shores on Saturday, March 21, with gates opening at 1.30pm.

It will be the second event of its kind at Whitfords Nodes Park, with legendary DJ Fatboy Slim taking the stage next month.

Both events are presented by Zaccaria Concerts and Touring.

There will be no public parking, with organisers encouraging concert-goers to use public transport, taxis or ride share services, or its bus service with details to be released.
