RETIRED school teacher Marie Hahn is opening her Kingsley garden to the public this Saturday.

“I’d like as many people to come as possible,” she told Community News.

“And it’s well worth seeing.”

Marie spends up to three hours a day gardening, raking leaves in the morning and returning to the garden in the afternoon between the UK and Australian versions of TV quiz show The Chase.

She says visitors on Saturday will need about an hour to “get through all the things” in her garden, including the jasmine and rinunculas flowers.

People can make a donation, which will go to women’s volunteer organisation View Club, and receive tea and coffee.

Marie’s garden is at 10 Renegade Way, Kingsley, and will be open this Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
