ENDEAVOUR Theatre Company will host the Australian premiere of a work by a British playwright for its next production.
“We are very excited to bring to you According to Claudia by Phil Mansell, first performed in the UK in 2015 with resounding success,” Endeavour president Christine Evans said.
“Mansell is very excited that we have chosen to perform his play here in Australia for the first time.”

Evans said the play was about the secrets that emerge when a family gathers to celebrate the 70th birthday of a crusty retired Oxford don.
His daughters add fuel to the fire by bringing along partners, which include a confused crime-writer and a former gangster returning from the Costa Del Crime.
“Mix in a dotty maiden aunt, a sad spinster, and a mystery gunman, and it all adds up to a birthday party none of them will forget,” she said.
