ILUKA resident Tracey Arnett’s first book celebrates all things Perth.
Arnett said the book, which was printed locally at Picton Press in West Perth, encouraged people to get out and about in Perth.
“My message is to slow down and enjoy all the spaces and places Perth has to offer,” she said.

READ NOW“Livin Lovin Perth: A Seasonal Approach to Exploring In & Around Perth is a 52-week storied adventure around Perth and offers a series of activities for families and couples alike.
“Each activity is shaped to take advantage of our beautiful seasons.
“I’ve enjoyed promoting local business throughout the book, completely unsponsored, and I was very proud to use a local printer as well as the services of an incredible local designer and editor.”
Arnett said ideas in the book did not involve spending a lot of money.
“It just requires the taking of time to reconnect with the people you love,” she said.
“It’s an encouragement to appreciate and explore spaces and places throughout Perth and make a few hours within your week a little more extraordinary.
“While holidays are a glorious way to spend a few weeks of the year, for most of us Perth is where we generally reside for 48 to 50 weeks of the year, so why not make the most of it.
“I’m pretty passionate about Perth and her hidden gems.”
Arnett said it was a “labour of love” featuring her own photos, and she would donate 20 per cent of profits to a charity supporting people who are homeless.
The books costs $25.95 and can be bought through livinlovinperth.com.
